Homes for Sale in Park Shore
The Park Shore community is the ultimate standard of luxury living in Naples.
Nearly all of its homes are either on the water or just a block or two away from it. Park Shore real estate is centrally located between downtown Naples and North Naples, which borders Lee County, home to Fort Myers and Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The great thing about Naples is that there’s always something to do, whether you’re into boating, dining, nature, or cultural activities.
What is it Like to Live in Park Shore?
The Park Shore area of Naples comprises a unique blend of single-family homes and mid to high-rise condominiums on 760 acres of prime waterfront property. The homes and mid-rise condos, some built directly over the water, have wide open views across the glistening waters of Venetian Bay. Across the street, spectacular high-rises offer a sparkling white sand beach and the turquoise waves of the Gulf of Mexico.
Today, Park Shore is one of Naples’ most desired neighborhoods. It’s located near top-rated schools and surrounded by shopping and dining hot spots.
Nearby Park Shore Amenities
A beachfront path connects the collection of condominium complexes and winds among the community’s five Gulf-front parks and four open common areas. If you want to enjoy a less-crowded beach with your family and friends, you’ll certainly be able to do so. If you feel like stretching your legs, you can also walk, bike or drive to the Village Shops.
The Village Shops on Venetian Bay
The Village Shops on Venetian Bay is a notable shopping center in the Park Shore neighborhood. Home to over 50 sophisticated shops, restaurants, and art galleries, Venetian Village features waterfront shopping and dining. The shopping center’s Mediterranean theme and waterfront aesthetic will make you feel like you’re in Venice, Italy. It’s also home to the only Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop in the area.
The Village Shops offer a number of family-friendly events throughout the year including a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and photos with Santa, as well as a Thanksgiving 4k race. The best part is if you don’t feel like driving, the weather is always nice and the Village Shops are just a quick walk from home.
Park Shore Association Fund
The neighborhood is also the only community association in the county with its own fund. The Park Shore Fund is part of the Community Foundation of Collier County.
Members of the community can make tax-deductible contributions to the fund, which can then be used for a number of things, such as beautification projects. In the past, the fund has created a new entrance with a notable monument to welcome residents and guests into the neighborhood.
Park Shore Beach Access
Park Shore in Naples sits west of U.S. 41, between Pelican Bay to the north and The Moorings to the south. If you join the Park Shore Association, you’ll gain access to the community’s 2.6-acre beach park. There are also a variety of beach access options in the Park Shore area itself. Additionally, Naples Pier is about 15-minutes to the south, and Vanderbilt Beach is about the same distance to the north.
Some Park Shore beaches include:
Via Miramar Beach
These beaches do not have bathrooms or concessions, so you need to plan ahead. Horizon Way, Via Miramar Beach and Vedado Way are all smaller beach accesses located on Gulfshore Boulevard North. Beach parking stickers are available for residents or you can pay for parking.
Seagate Beach is another popular option, located at the northern end of Gulf Shore Boulevard North. It features a long shaded sidewalk dotted with benches.
Park Shore Community Living
Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South are downtown Naples’ main shopping centers and restaurant meccas. The Spanish and Italian-inspired architecture will enchant you and make you feel like you’ve been transported to somewhere in Europe.
Third Street is home to Gallery Row, a distinctive collection of art galleries featuring a variety of artists and artistic styles. During Season, downtown Naples is home to numerous events from art festivals and wine tastings to live music. The Naples Players at Sugden Community Theatre is on Fifth Avenue near Starbucks. Catch a live play for date night and end the night at one of the area’s mouthwatering restaurants.
