One marked route is north from the marina to New Pass, and the second one is south from the marina to Wiggins Pass. Additionally, if you’re in the mood for a bite to eat, Backwater Jacks is a great casual dining option. It also features live music on weekends.

If you’re in the mood for a round of golf, you’ll easily be able to find a place to tee off at one of Bonita Bay’s five championship golf courses designed by renowned architects, Arthur Hills and Tom Fazio.
Bonita Bay boasts five different golf courses, two fully-stocked pro shops, PGA instructors and an experienced and accommodating staff to help improve your golf game. There are three golf courses on-site at the Bonita Bay Club and two off-site at Bonita Bay Naples.
Golf at Bonita Bay
The Marsh Course snakes through wetlands, around stately oak trees and classic palmettos. The natural wetlands and native vegetation also provide a challenging golf game, along with lush landscaping to help the setting feel relaxing.
The Creekside Course is known for its extensive fairways and partial carries. Changes in land elevation also create the subtle illusion of rolling hills, something you’ll be hard-pressed to find in Southwest Florida. Bunkering and moguls also add a bit more of a challenge.
The Bay Island Course is the longest and most stimulating of the three courses. Water hazards, sand traps and thick stands of oak and cypress trees mean bigger and harder challenges. This course truly does play to all four points of the compass.
Golf at Bonita Bay Naples
The Cypress Course is the Naples Club’s longest option. It begins with expansive fairways that are interrupted by strategically-placed bunkers. There are tighter landing areas on the backside of the course with holes designed to cut through dense stands of trees. If you are looking for the ultimate challenge, this is the course you want to play. The bunkers are steeper and there are plenty of wetlands and water features to keep you on your toes.
The Sabal Course, named for its abundance of sabal palms throughout, is a little shorter and tighter than the Cypress Course. It borders a wildlife preserve, so you might be able to see some local Florida critters. The long white sand bunkers surround the rising and falling fairways and the course is also known for steep and sloping bunkers, false fronts and terraces, and multi-tiered greens. Ponds cut in to give the course more challenge and intrigue, especially on holes nine through 12 that play around a 35-acre lake.
Fitness and Aquatic Centers
Bonita Bay offers a 15,000-square-foot Sport and Aquatic Center. The 18 Har-Tru tennis courts are also unique. The subsurface irrigation system helps to maintain top playing conditions year-round. Any of the USPTA master professionals in the teaching center can help you improve your game as staff analyzes videotaped play and Playsite technology to help residents develop playing strategies. In addition to tennis there are also five new cushioned/Laykold Gell Pickleball courts complete with LED lighting.
If you prefer to swim laps, the new geo-thermo saltwater pool has four dedicated 75-foot lap lanes. If you’d rather work out in a group setting, the new 18,000-square-foot facility is outfitted with Technogym's state-of-the-art Artis line. These perks include all of the Kinesis Stations and the Kinesis One. There is also dedicated training available for golf, pilates/Gyrotonics and spin classes. Individual programs are also tailored to meet the needs of our members, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced.
Bonita Bay Club Restaurants
The Clubroom offers indoor and outdoor seating options overlooking the community’s golf courses. Look forward to the daily lunch buffet and a full a la carte menu.
The 55th Hole is a more casual dining option with laidback, modern pub fare. Enjoy a relaxing setting near the fire pit or relax and watch a sports game on one of the eight overhead TVs.
Residents and guests can find the Wave Café at the Lifestyle Center on the fitness floor. It offers healthy food, and fresh, organic produce used in made-to-order juices and smoothies. Choose from salads, wraps and sandwiches with quinoa, brown rice or artisan greens.
The Promenade at Bonita Bay
The Promenade at Bonita Bay offers even more dining options along with high-end, unique boutiques, salons and retail stores. The open-air shopping center features colorful buildings and tropical architecture that will make you feel like you’ve been transported to the shores of Italy.
For a hearty meal, special occasion or memorable night out with friends and family, we recommend DeRomo’s Gourmet Market & Restaurant. The longtime Bonita Springs establishment brings a taste of the Bronx to Southwest Florida. If you want something quick, there’s also a grab-and-go market Bonita Bay residents and guests can take full advantage of.
In addition to being a delicious Italian restaurant, DeRomo's is a full-service banquet facility. It can accommodate for events like awards banquets, fundraisers, weddings, graduations, holiday parties, baby showers, christenings, anniversaries, networking events, bar and bat mitzvahs, and retirement parties.
The Center Bar at the Promenade features live entertainment in a classy, open-air setting every Tuesday through Sunday. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a stressful day.
The Promenade is also home to many unique and high-end retail shops. Coastal Outfitters is just one example. The casual, yet luxurious boutique sells clothing for both men and women along with home décor items and essential outdoor and fishing items.
The Promenade also hosts a vibrant year-round event calendar with most events free and open to the public.
